This service was created with one purpose in mind - the sharing and preservation of old classic websites and software that has long since been lost to history. Many of us grew up using these computers and software, and we wish to continue preserving and providing the opportunity to learn and experiment with classic software that defined the early beginnings of the Internet for the next generation of computer hobbyists. We are doing so in good faith, and laud the opportunity to allow the greater community benefit and learn from history. However, we have utmost respect to the wishes of creators of any content published on ProtoWeb.

If you are a Copyright Holder, and desire to have copyrighted material be removed from the service, or file archives, or if you would like to report disputes or problems with the content distributed on the service, please feel free to contact the Administrators by using the links below to get in touch, or by reaching out directly by email using the contact information here.

We request that you identify who you are, if you are acting as a proxy for a copyright holder, the exact files that you desire to have removed, and any helpful contact information, including phone numbers or reply-to email addresses.
